To provide a person-centred befriending service for local people with a learning disability aged 18 plus who live in Medway or Kent.

To visit a lonely person in their own home for a chat and a cup of tea. There are a lot of lonely people in the local area, this scheme can really make a difference to peoples lives.

As a volunteer befriender you would be asked to visit a person or couple at home that we are supporting, to offer companionship and a friendly, listening ear at a difficult time.
