Supporting Voluntary Action in the Canterbury Distirct

Suppporting Voluntary Action
in the Canterbury District

We are members of the National Digital Inclusion Network, which is a network of organisations helping people use or access the internet locally and who can apply for data packages anytime.

As such, we are the recipients of a number of SIM cards which can be activated and gifted to provide free mobile data to people experiencing data poverty or living on a low income in their community.

Please note, to be eligible for free mobile data  you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • 18+ years old AND from a low income household
  • have no access or insufficient access to the internet at home
  • have no or insufficient access to the internet when away from the home
  • cannot afford an existing monthly contract or top up
