Supporting Voluntary Action in the Canterbury Distirct

Suppporting Voluntary Action
in the Canterbury District

We run regular workshops and training sessions for both volunteers and the organisations that recruit volunteers.

For volunteers we run regular “Skills for Volunteering” courses on behalf of Kent Adult Education. These are specifically for people who are 18 + and on benefits or on a low income.

Recent workshops have also included:

  • Best Practice in Volunteering Management
  • An Introduction to Volunteering
  • Virtual Volunteering
  • Micro Volunteering
  • Recruiting and supporting young people to volunteer.

We are delighted to offer you access to  a number of training courses  from Flick Learning for the staff, volunteers and trustees of any charity in the Canterbury district who can now access (at an extremely low cost – £10 ex VAT) their suite of over 140 fully-accredited online training courses. . . you can check out the full course list on their website.

To find out more about this game – changing offer, please do get in touch with Elliott Jones (Elliott.jones@flicklearning.com) who can answer any of your questions, show you around the site, and, hopefully, get you signed up.

Given the current economic situation, this is certainly good news!

If you have any requests regarding training sessions, please do get in touch.
